THE CURRICULUM

Week 1: Intro to Fly Cycling / Learning the Bike and Creating Your IntroStudents will learn the fundamentals of most indoor cycling performance bikes including how to set up for riders. You will also create an exciting and informative introduction that begins our journey into learning your coaching persona.

Week 2: Rhythm Riding / Riding to the Beat!Learn how to mirror the audience from the stage, ride to the rhythm of the song, transition into moves and count for your class.

Week 3: Routine Development / Starting the Class with a BANGER!Let’s create the perfect beginning to a BOMB class! The first song sets the tone for the entire class so we will choose your opener and develop a routine to go along with it.

Week 4: Routine Development / Sprints!Students will choose the best songs to sprint with and develop routines to go along with them.

Week 5: Coaching Development / Embracing Your PersonaBy now we should be ready to dig deep into your coaching personality. What makes you special? What is your ultimate goal in each class

Week 6: Routine Development / Hills & IsolationsLet’s take it UP a notch! Students will choose songs that are good for a nice climb up some hills. We will learn different ways to incorporate isolations and the proper way to climb without injury.

Week 7: Routine Development / Mid-Tempo MadnessStudents will finalize the BOMB Playlist for their demo ride. We will create a fun, exciting and FLY group of songs that will give your class an amazing workout.

Week 8: Final Exam / Interview & AuditionStudents will conduct a mock interview with Coach K and trusted leaders. You will then perform your entire playlist for the group so we can check out all you’ve learned and decide if you’re ready to graduate from the course.
